Ardèche
a land of mountains and valleys

"Here, the vine has been flourishing since the Gallo-Roman era"

The first traces of our vineyard date back to the Gallo-Roman era, when the Helvians planted the vineyard in Vallis Vinaria, Valley of the Vine (today Valvignères).  From the foothills of the Cevennes mountains to the steep terraces of the Rhone Valley, the mosaic of terroirs and the altitude allows our vines to express all their freshness, richness and diversity.

The Mediterranean climate, enhanced by the Mistral wind which dries out the vineyard, offers exceptional conditions: summers are hot and dry, winters are mild. The rainy springs and fall seasons provide the reserve of water necessary for the growth of the berries.
